Our Approach
The hallmark behind our successful training programs is the flexibility behind our program segments and training methodology. Because we recognize that training audiences differ one from another; that participants often bring different experiences and expectations to the table, we are committed to ensuring that our programs are customized to align with each organization’s mission, vision, values, and desired objectives. As such, we use specially designed in-house structured experiences that are not only entertaining and engaging, but also instructional and challenging at the same time. With that in mind, Eka employs a three-tiered approach to training via these structured experiences: Awareness- Exposure- Application.
Awareness. We believe that the beginning of learning is self-awareness; the knowing where we stand in the greater scheme of the skill in question. For example, before we learn about project management, first understand our base level of project management competence.
Exposure. Once participants know where they stand- their blind-spots and inclinations- it creates a “desire” to learn to plug those gaps and enhance our strengths. This is where participants are exposed to relevant models, blueprints, concepts and approaches that will enable them to complete their learning map.
Application. It is always useful to directly internalize things, rather than just having mere head knowledge. As a result, we have created scenarios and structured experiences that allow each participant to not only internalize the skill/experience but also have an active chance to put what they have learnt into use for better understanding and retention.
